Clinical Psychology is a branch of psychology whose MSc graduate students learn more about psychopathology, personality, and theories of psychotherapy and also develop their skills in field of psychological intervention in different settings.
The aim of MSC Program in Clinical Psychology at the Ministry of Health and Medical Education is to educate psychologists and professionals so that they can act efficiently in their related fields.
Specific Competencies and Skills
At the end of the program learners will be competent in the following skills:
- Offering Psychotherapy and consulting with faculty member supervision
- Assisting in research
- Interpreting the psychological test results
- Providing workshop for clinical population and communities
General Requirement: To apply for this program, you will need to fulfill a number of requirements, which can be found in the Graduate Admission Requirements.
Specific Requiremetns: Holding a Bachelor’s degree (B.Sc.) in Clinical Psychology received in Iran or abroad
The eligible candidate should have successfully completed an approved related Degree program and should be proficient in English or Persian.
Tehran University of Medical Sciences has a rolling application system and reviews student applications all year round.
However, the deadline for the September intake is June 31.
