Biography:
Dr.ATM. Sukree Kade, doctor of applied Thai traditional medicine and assistant instructor at the Center of Applied Thai Traditional Medicine (CATTM), Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University. He graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Thai Traditional Medicine (B.ATM.) (2nd class honor) and currently studying for a doctoral degree in the Applied Thai Traditional Medicine Program at the Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital. His position at CATTM is the head of the Cooperative Communication and Special Affairs unit, responding to national and international relations. He has treated the patient with Thai traditional medicine principles for more than 10 years, including treatment with herbal medicine, therapeutic massage, post-partum care, and giving advice by the Dhammanamaya concept. He mainly teaches Thai traditional therapeutic massage subjects for applied Thai traditional medical students and international students taking short training in Thai traditional medicine at CATTM. He has experienced visiting Sri Lanka and Indonesia to learn about ayurvedic medicine (Sri Lanka), Jama traditional medicine (Indonesia), local folk healers, local herbal medicine productions, and exchange knowledge of alternative medicine curricula with local medical institutions. His research interest is Thai traditional therapeutic massage and prohibited foods in Thai traditional medicine.
