Biography:
Dr. Supakij Suwannatrai graduated bachelor’s degree in Applied Thai Traditional Medicine from the Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University. He finished his Master of Science in Health Education in 2005 at Srinakharinwirot University, Bangkok, Thailand. He is a doctor of applied Thai traditional medicine and has been the main instructor of Thai traditional medicine since 1992. He is an expert in Thai traditional therapeutic massage. He started to work as head of the Ayurved Clinic of Applied Thai traditional medicine, Center of Applied Thai Traditional Medicine, since 2004. He was the special lecturer for Thai traditional massage in many institutions. He was on the National Skill Standards, Department of Skill Development, Ministry of Labor of Thailand, subcommittee from 1997 to 2017. He was one of the working groups on Applied Thai Traditional Medicine Licensing Examination Development, Department of Healing Arts Practices, Ministry of Public Health of Thailand. He was the committee of the Clinical Practice Guideline for Health Promotion and Prevention according to aging group with Thai Traditional Medicine, Department of Thai Traditional and Alternative Medicine, Ministry of Public Health of Thailand. In 2017, he participated in the WHO working group meeting on Benchmark for Practice in Tuina, Changchun, China. His research interests involve Thai traditional massage.
