Dr. Melody Rose is an Adjunct Faculty and Doctoral Faculty Advisor at Franklin University. She holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree and a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree with a focus on nursing informatics. Dr. Rose has over 25 years of experience in nursing and has worked in various roles, including as a staff nurse, clinical informatics specialist, and nursing informatics director. Her research interests include the use of technology in healthcare and nursing education, patient safety, and nursing informatics competencies. Dr. Rose has also been actively involved in teaching and has served as a primary instructor in several nursing informatics courses. She has published numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals and has presented at national and international conferences.

In January of 2023, Dr. Rose was awarded the title of TUMS International Adjunct Scholar by the Chancellor of TUMS, for a term of three years.

Dr. Rose has fulfilled the role of a primary instructor in four international online short courses provided by the School of Nursing and Midwifery, which were titled "Fundamentals of Nursing Informatics", "Information Management Systems in Nursing", "Technology Solutions for Telenursing and Generating Knowledge" and "The Professional Role of Nursing Informatics". For more detailed information concerning these courses, interested parties are advised to consult the following web links:
