About Us

The Directorate of International Relations, Accreditation and Ranking is responsible for building international relationships between TUMS and international universities and institutions of higher education.

Collaboration with universities and higher education institutions around the world and sharing resources to provide better education and research is very important. Among the missions defined in the office of Vice-Chancellor in Global Strategies and International Affairs: attracting top and talented students, promoting pioneering research, reaching the latest achievements in the field of treatment and creating new links with business and industry, which is necessary to do these things, to establish close relationships with people and Top organizations and talent around the world.

In this regard, in the office of Vice-Chancellor in Global Strategies and International Affairs of Tehran University of Medical Sciences (TUMS), the Directorate of International Relations, Accreditation and Ranking has special importance.

The primary goals defined in this directorate are:

  • Expanding and strengthening relationships with leading universities around the world

  • Create exchange programs and joint documents

  • Developing research partnerships with international higher education institutions

  • Establishing relationships with top professors in the fields of medical sciences around the world and trying to establish joint educational, research and therapeutic collaborations with them.

Another work that is currently being done in this directorate is monitoring the agreements and memorandums of understanding concluded between TUMS and other universities and higher education institutions. In this regard, we are constantly looking for new international collaborations and partnerships.

The Appraise To Raise program is one of the other programs that are followed in this directorate. The purpose of this program is to facilitate the holding of online educational programs in different categories in different educational units of TUMS.

In addition to the above, a wide range of support services for key aspects of TUMS' internationalization strategy are provided in this administration.
