Tehran University of Medical Sciences Attending EURASIA Higher Education Summit and Exhibition hosted by Turkey

Tehran University of Medical Sciences’ pavilion has been welcomed by visitors at the Higher Education Summit and Exhibition of the EURAS Eurasian Universities Union.

According to the Public Relations Department of the Deputy of International Affairs, this exhibition and meeting was held from 26 February to 1 March in Istanbul, Turkey. The university booth at the exhibition, introduced the university’s capabilities along with providing information about the university, colleges and study opportunities to visitors.

Various officials visited the booth, including Dr. Mustafa Aydin, President of EURAS, Malaysian Minister of Higher Education, Iranian Consul General in Istanbul, and representatives of other universities.

During the international Higher Education Summit of the EURAS Eurasian Universities Union, Dr. Shabani, Director of International Affairs Development, delivered a lecture focused on Internationalization Curriculum in Iran’s dedicated panel.

In this exhibition, the panel was dedicated to only Iran, Canada, Russia, France, China, Malaysia and Turkey, and a collection of universities from these countries were present. From Iran, representatives from 14 universities and institutes of higher education such as Tabriz University, Amirkabir University, Tarbiat Moddares and Tehran University of Medical Sciences were attending the event and had their own their booths.

Representatives from 350 universities and institutes of higher education from   52 countries also participated in the EURAS Istanbul event which was the intersection for the scientific figures of the two continents of Europe and Asia.

During the summit, 50 specialized seminars on how to engage universities were held. Also, attracting students and exchanging professors were points of discussion.

Continuing negotiations, closing new MOUs and introducing domestic universities were among other activities of the Iranian representatives.

Dr. Shabani, director of International Affairs Development, Dr. Mirzai, director of International Sourcing and Marketing, and Mr. Seyed Hasani, International Affairs Development specialist were attending the summit and exhibition and represented Tehran University of Medical Sciences.
