On April 29, 2019, the School of Public Health signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Singapore National University in Kish Island.
The Memorandum of Understanding between the School of Public Health and Singapore National University was signed.

With the presence of Dr. Karimi, Tehran University of Medical Sciences, Dr. Kordi, the vice-chancellor for Global Strategies and International Affairs, Dr. Jafarian, the International Head of World Health Summit, and Dr. Takiyan, the Director of the 7th World Health Regional Meeting,  a memorandum of understanding between School of Public Health and Singapore National University was signed.

Dr. Akbari Sari, the Dean of School of Public Health, stated that: “ For the expansion of cooperations with prominent universities and academies and internationalization, and because of the Tehran University of Medical Sciences hosting the 7th World Health Regional Meeting, the School of Public Health contacted the attending universities and had agreements on signing a Memorandum of Understanding with the School of Public Health, of National Singapore University in Kish Island.

He mentioned: “ This cooperation is a wide range of educational and research activities and for the first steps we will discuss exchanging professors and students, short-term workshops about world health and health stable development. “

He described the Singapore National University a recognized university with a high-quality education.

Teo Yik Ying, the Dean of Singapore National University also mentioned the exchange of professors and students and working on joint projects about public health as the beginning steps of this cooperation.

“ Financing this kind of cooperations is the most challenging part for both universities.”
