Following the NanoSafety Congress held on 19-20 February 2014 in Iran, Tehran University of Medical Sciences (TUMS) hosted guests from Italy, Hungary, USA, China, Korea, South Africa and India, for further scientific cooperation.
TUMS Further Cooperates with International Academic Bodies

On 23 February, distinguished academic characters from Italy and India paid a visit to TUMS in order to enhance scientific cooperation.

Professor Qamar Rahman, the Dean Research at Amity University India visited various laboratories at TUMS School of Pharmacy and inked an MoU on the bilateral scientific cooperation with the school Dean, Dr. Sharifzadeh. She also signed an MoU with the Dean of Pharmaceutical Sciences Research Center (PSRC), Dr Abbas Shafiee.

Furthermore, Silke Krol a scientist from Italy working on nanotechnological solutions for medical problems delivered lectures in the School of Pharmacy under the titles of “Nanoparticle and Drug Delivery through the Blood Brain Barrier” and “Evaluate Nanotechnology in Details”. During her speech, she introduced Nanomedicine, as the medical application of nanotechnology and elaborated on the interaction and effect of Nanomedicine on biology, physics, chemistry and medicine. The lectures were followed by challenging interactions with PhD students.
