School of Pharmacy at Tehran University of Medical Sciences (TUMS) signed an MoU with the School of Pharmacy at Hacettepe University of Ankara, Turkey.
TUMS Initiates Cooperation with Hacettepe University

1st Middle East Controlled Release Conference (MECRC 2014) and the 6th Iranian Controlled Release Conference (ICRC 2014), was held at TUMS, during 25–27 February 2014.  Meanwhile, a number of international participants of the conference including professors and deans of Schools of Pharmacy from University of Central Lancashire, United Kingdom, Rhodes University, Grahams Town in South Africa, International Medical University, Kuala Lumpur Malaysia, University of Malaya, Kuala Lumpur Malaysia, Hacettepe University, Ankara Turkey, and Utrecht University, The Netherlands  visited TUMS School of Pharmacy.

During a meeting held at the School of Pharmacy with the presence of the abovementioned guests and also Dr. Sharifzadeh, Dean of School of Pharmacy, Dr. Nekoofar, Director of International Relations, Accreditation and Ranking, Dr. Shabani, Director of International Affairs and Development, Dr. Abdollahi, Deputy of Pharmaceutical Research Center and some other distinguished professors and faculty members, an MoU was signed between the two parties in line with establishment and improvement of academic cooperation in the fields of joint degree programs, exchange of students, academic staff and scholarly materials, etc.

In addition, and for the purpose of sharing outlooks and experiences, Dr. Akbari, Vice-Dean for International Affairs, School of Pharmacy, and an authorized member of the Hacettepe University delivered PowerPoint presentations about their Schools.
