Short Biography

Wang Bin, PhD, professor, doctoral supervisor. Dean of the Graduate School and Director of the Discipline Construction Office of Shaanxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Head of Traditional Chinese Medicine Pharmacology at the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Head of the Shaanxi Provincial Youth Research and Innovation Team for Traditional Chinese Medicine Dual Chain Integration, and Director of the Shaanxi Provincial University Traditional Chinese Medicine Brain Health Industry Engineering Research Center. Director of the Chinese Pharmacological Society, Vice President of the Traditional Chinese Medicine Pharmacology Branch of the Chinese Medical Information Society, and Director of the Traditional Chinese Medicine Pharmacology Professional Committee of the Shaanxi Pharmacological Society.

Mainly engaged in the research of prescriptions and drugs for cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases. Hosted or completed 5 scientific research projects, including 2 National Natural Science Foundation projects, key science and technology projects of the Ministry of Education, and key science and technology projects of the Shaanxi Provincial Department of Science and Technology. He has participated in many research projects and new drug development, including major projects of the Ministry of Science and Technology. In recent years, he has published more than 100 academic papers, won 6 scientific research awards from the Department of Science and Technology and the Department of Education of Shaanxi Province, and compiled more than 20 books and textbooks, including Research Methodology of Pharmacodynamics of Traditional Chinese Medicine, traditional Chinese patent medicines and simple preparations and Simple Preparations and Their Application Series, and Pharmacology of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Outstanding Doctoral Dissertation in Beijing, Chief Engineer of Small and Medium sized Enterprises in Shaanxi Province, and Outstanding Young and Middle aged Traditional Chinese Medicine Talents.
