The 9th Research Workshop for International Students Held at TUMS International College

According to the Public Relations Office of the International College at Tehran University of Medical Sciences (TUMS), the ninth session of the series of research workshops for international students was held on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at the International College building. The workshop was conducted by Dr. Mohammad Hossein Ayati and focused on strengthening students’ research competencies in writing case reports and designing clinical trials.

In the first part of the workshop, topics such as “Introduction to Case Reports,” “How to Write a Case Report,” and “Multiple Case Compilation and Case Series” were presented. The second part covered “Fundamentals of Clinical Trial Design,” “Different Types of Clinical Trials,” and “Randomization and Blinding.”

The workshop attracted enthusiastic participation from international students representing various countries. It served as part of the International College’s ongoing efforts to empower students with essential research skills and promote scientific and academic excellence.
