Section A:  Fostering the education of medical sciences 
The College plays a crucial role in coordinating, training, and supporting medical education within the university and beyond. Key functions include:

Facilitating partnerships with other universities, research institutions, and healthcare providers.
Organizing student and faculty exchanges, joint research projects, and international collaborations.

Section B: Linguistics
Linguistic courses: 
Alongside the obligatory curriculum of the students, the International College offers comprehensive English and Persian language courses to ensure the success of its international medical students. English language proficiency is crucial for academic success, research, and effective communication within the international medical community. Persian language learning is essential for successful clinical practice within the Iranian healthcare system, enabling effective communication with patients, peers, and healthcare professionals. 
Roadmap: 
English and Persian language courses are tailored to meet the specific language proficiency levels of individual learners. After an initial assessment, students are placed in classes that align with their abilities.
Public courses in foreign languages: 
In addition to the mandatory courses for TUMS students, the International College offers language courses in various foreign languages to the general public.

1.    Academic and Linguistic Assessments

o    Conducting comprehensive placement tests to accurately assess the language proficiency of students in Persian and English.
