The 19th Research Workshop for International Students Held at TUMS International College
The workshop covered critical topics such as "A Brief History of Research Ethics," "Principles of Research Ethics," "International Guidelines on Research Ethics," "Role of Research Ethics Committees," and "Research Misconduct and Publication Ethics." Participants gained in-depth knowledge of international research ethics frameworks, the responsibilities of ethics committees, and strategies to prevent research misconduct.
Additionally, the eighteenth workshop in this series, titled "How to Prepare Conference Posters and Slides," will be made available to international students as recorded offline content. Delivered by Dr. Niousha Ismailzadeh, this session includes key modules such as "Understanding Conference Requirements," "Prepare Your Content," "Prepare the Final Poster," "Planning for Presentation," "Design Principles," and "Best Practices for Slide Creation."
These workshops are part of the International College’s ongoing initiatives to empower students with essential research skills, fostering their academic and professional growth in areas such as research ethics, publication standards, and effective scientific presentation.
