The Second Meeting of the TUMS International College Educational Council was held

According to the Public Relations of TUMS International College, the second meeting of the College educational council was held on Saturday, April 17, 2022, to discuss and decide some issues related to Persian and English language courses of international students with the presence of Dr. Enayat Shabani (Dean), Dr. Zeinab Siami (Vice-Dean for Education & Research), Dr. Amir Zand Moghadam, Dr. Mohammad J. Kandi (Executive Education Coordinator).
At the beginning, Dr. Siami briefly explained the necessity of these meetings on a monthly basis. Then she stated the educational issues one by one to be discussed and decided.
Language requirements for the admissions of international students and the placement test for students who have received conditional acceptance were also discussed.
Then, Dr. Shabani and Dr. Kandi reviewed the time plan for future courses and some suggestions to improve the quality of education in the field of Persian and English classes were made.
Finally, Dr. Zand Moghadam announced that there are currently 20 classes (17 classes in Tehran and 3 classes in Urmia) in the field of Persian language for international students and explained some of the related issues.
In the end, it was decided to take the necessary steps decided in the meeting and report their outcomes in the future sessions.
