About the Center

 

The Center for Academic and Health Policy was established at Tehran University of Medical Sciences in 2006 to support evidence-informed decision-making and policymaking. Using rigorous scientific methods, the Center evaluates decisions and policies related to the University and the health system and applies and contextualizes evidence-informed approaches and methods for decision support and decision-making. Its primary focus is to support strategic decision-making at the senior management level of the University in the areas of education, research, healthcare delivery, and resource management.
