Program: self-assessment

Since, symptoms related to coronavirus are similar to any common cold or flu-like syndromes, there are many people that may panic against these symptoms. We are trying to develop a quick self-assessment tool in different languages; and ask people to take it and follow the guidelines for follow-up or self-care.

 

Have you travelled outside the Iran in the last 14 days?

Where did you travel to?

Has someone with a confirmed case of coronavirus been in close contact with you?

Do you have any of these:

  • High temperature (feeling hot to touch on the chest or tummy)
  • A cough
  • Shortness of breath

 

You need to isolate yourself and stay indoors

If you’re on public transport, go home by the most direct route. Stay at least 2 metres away from people if you can.

If you’re away from home:

  • find a room where you can close the door
  • avoid touching people, surfaces and objects

To protect yourself and others, do not go to a GP, pharmacy or hospital

You should keep yourself separate from others in your household (self-isolate) for 14 days.
