On January 7, 2025, the Center of Excellence for Global Health (CEGH) was inaugurated at Tehran University of Medical Sciences, attended by officials from the Ministry of Health and Medical Education (MoHME), and prominent national and international figures. This center is the first of its kind in the Eastern Mediterranean and North Africa region, established with the aim of advancing knowledge and research in global health.
