Presence of Dr. Amirhossein Takian in the Steering Committee and as Head of Working Group II of the European Lancet Commission on Health, Migration, and Climate Change

Dr. Amirhossein Takian, Founder of the Center of Excellence for Global Health and Professor of Health Policy at Tehran University of Medical Sciences, serves as a member of the Steering Committee of the European Lancet Commission on Health, Migration, and Climate Change, and is also the Head of Working Group II within this commission.

This commission, established in collaboration with the international journal Lancet Migration and the World Health Organization (WHO), aims to conduct scientific research and develop policy recommendations in the field of health, migration, and climate change in Europe. Currently, the commission is preparing a Lancet special issue focused on climate change and migration.

The Steering Committee, composed of experts from the WHO and leading universities worldwide, provides scientific leadership and strategic direction for the commission.
