The Eighth Session of the “Parto” Empowerment Program for Educational Leaders at Tehran University of Medical Sciences

The Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning at Tehran University of Medical Sciences (TUMS) continues its comprehensive empowerment program for educational leaders by holding the eighth session of the “Parto” series, aimed at cultivating leadership and managerial competencies among the university’s academic administrators.

This session, entitled “Strategies for Managing Conflicts of Interest in Managerial Decision-Making,” will be delivered by Dr. Amirhossein Takian, Professor of Health Policy and the Founding Director of the Center for Excellence in Global Health at TUMS.

The event is scheduled for Saturday, November 14, 2025, from 13:00 to 15:00, at the Darolfonoon Hall, 9th floor of the Central Headquarters Building (Keshavarz Blvd., corner of Ghods St.).

According to the program’s Secretariat, this session carries educational empowerment credit and is open for on-site registration exclusively for the target audience, including deans of faculties, vice deans for education, directors of educational development offices, and heads of academic departments.

This initiative aims to enhance managerial effectiveness and promote ethical and transparent decision-making within medical education governance, forming a part of the university’s strategic roadmap for strengthening educational leadership capacity across all academic units during the academic year 2025–2026.
