Signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the Center of Excellence for Global Health and the Deputy for Health, Tehran University of Medical Sciences

In line with advancing scientific, research, and executive collaboration in the fields of public health and global health, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the Center of Excellence for Global Health and the Deputy for Health of Tehran University of Medical Sciences (TUMS).

The MoU was signed by Dr. Amirhossein Takian, Founder of the Center of Excellence for Global Health, and Dr. Alireza Olyaeemanesh, Deputy for Health of Tehran University of Medical Sciences.

This agreement aims to leverage the scientific, research, and educational capacities of both institutions to strengthen the health system, promote applied research, enhance evidence-informed policymaking, and expand education and capacity building for the health workforce. Key areas of cooperation include the design and implementation of joint research projects, collaboration in educational and capacity-building programs, exchange of specialized knowledge and expertise, and optimal use of existing resources and institutional capacities.

The signing of this MoU is considered an effective step toward strengthening the linkage between research and practice, as well as improving the quality of health programs at both national and international levels.
