Memorandum of Understanding Signed Between the Center of Excellence for Global Health and the National Nutrition and Food Technology Research Institute

In line with strengthening scientific, research, and institutional collaboration in the fields of nutrition, food systems, public health, and global health, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the Center of Excellence for Global Health (CEGH) at Tehran University of Medical Sciences and the National Nutrition and Food Technology Research Institute (NNFTRI).

The MoU was formally signed by Dr. Amirhossein Takian, Founder and Head of the Center of Excellence for Global Health, and Dr. Nasser Kalantari, Acting Head of the National Nutrition and Food Technology Research Institute.

The agreement aims to effectively leverage the scientific, research, and educational capacities of both institutions to advance applied and interdisciplinary research, strengthen evidence-informed policymaking in nutrition and food systems, support national and international health programs, and expand education and capacity-building initiatives for human resources.

This partnership represents an important step toward bridging research and practice, enhancing intersectoral collaboration in nutrition and health, and improving the quality, impact, and sustainability of health and nutrition programs at both national and international levels.
