Endodontics Online Journal Clubs

According to a MoU signed between Tehran University of Medical Sciences and APEC on June 25, 2020, all APEC monthly International Online Journal Clubs were organized and supported by TUMS. Meanwhile, 21 OJCs were successfully held under the supervision and support of Appraise To Raise team, with the presence of APEC officials and authors of hot papers published in highly influential endodontics journals.

A distinctive feature of the APEC-TUMS OJCs was the innovative presence of the authors, which provided an opportunity for participants and experts to get to know the main opinions of the authors and eliminate the possibility of misinterpretation and personal perception. In these meetings, the participants as well as the moderator challenge the authors of the selected article and evaluate their methods and results. During this critical evaluation, authors are asked to justify their conclusions with evidence and are given the opportunity to defend their publication.

Following the success of the series of APEC-TUMS OJCs, and following another MoU, sigend on August 18, 2024, concluded with SELA, all SELA International Online Journal Clubs will be held by TUMS, under the supervision and support of Appraise To Raise in the field of dental roots.
