Endodontics Online Journal Clubs

According to an agreement signed between Tehran University of Medical Sciences and APEC on June 25th 2020, all the monthly International online journal clubs of APEC will be held and supported by TUMS. Under the supervision and support of Appraise To Raise, several successful online journal clubs were held, with the presence of APEC authorities and the authors of hot topic articles, published in highly influential journals in the field of endodontics. The distinctive attribute of APEC-TUMS OJCs is the initiative presence of authors, which provides the opportunity for the participants and experts to get acquainted with the main opinions of authors and eliminate the possibility of personal misinterpretation and perceptions. In these sessions, participants and also moderator challenge the authors of the chosen article and appraise their methodology and results. During this critical appraisal, the authors will be inquired to justify the conclusion with evidence and will be given time to defend their publication.
