Biography:
Nessrin Taha is Professor in Endodontics. Currently she is the vice Dean Faculty of Dentistry, Director of the dental teaching clinics and course coordinator for the master of clinical dentistry in endodontics at Jordan University of Science and Technology, Irbid, Jordan. She is also the chief of examination committee of the Jordanian Dental Board Exam in endodontics.
She obtained her specialty in Endodontics and Phd from the University of Melbourne, Australia. She is a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of dental surgeons in the general dental stream and in the special field of Endodontics. She was awarded the Sutherland prize for outstanding performance in the Royal college examination. She serves in the review panel of several international journals including IEJ, AEJ, JD, DT, BMC, COI.
Prof Taha has a special interest in the management of inflamed vital pulps and vital pulp therapy, and currently running several clinical trials on the topic with published papers on the medium term follow up of these cases in internationally peer reviewed Journals. She lectured both nationally and internationally on the topic in specialized conferences
