Comparing Bioceramic and Standard Sealers in Root Canal Treatment: A Meta-Analysis
Dr. Fausto Zamparini
(DDS, MSc, PhD)
First Author
Dr. Fausto Zamparini received a D.D.S. degree at University of Perugia in October 2012. He completed the Master in clinical endodontics in Bologna (director Prof. Carlo Prati) in 2015. From 2016 he is Tutor and Lecturer in the endodontic clinical section lead by Professor Carlo Prati. From 2016 he collaborates in the laboratory of Green biomaterials lead by Professor Maria Giovanna Gandolfi.
Completed the Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences in November 2019. Post-doctoral fellowship in 2020-2021.
From 2022 he became Researcher (RTDa) in the Department of Biomedical and Neuromotor Sciences.
Research interests in Endodontics are risk factors in clinical root canal treatment techniques (clinical trials on primary and secondary root canal treatments) and bioactive biomaterials (analysis and characterization of bioactive root canal sealer and scaffolds for periapical bone regeneration purposes).
Member of IADR from 2015 to 2022. Young CED-IADR ambassador from 2021.
Awarded for the best Original Scientific Poster at the biennal ESE congress (September 2017).
