How I Treat Acute GVHD: Prevention and Treatment

Armin Rashidi graduated from Tehran University of Medical Sciences in 2006. Subsequently he did a PhD in Biogerontology at Newcastle University in the UK, before moving to the University of Arizona in Tucson as a postdoc. Afterwards, he did an Internal Medicine residency at Eastern Virginia Medical School (Norfolk, Virginia) followed by a Hematology/Oncology fellowship at Washington University (St. Louis, Missouri). He then joined University of Minnesota as an Assistant Professor where he treats patients with hematologic malignancies. His clinical interests are acute GVHD and AML. His research interest is in the microbiome and its impact on the outcomes of intensive therapy.
