Biography:

Manami Hoshi-Harada is a dental technical officer of the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare (MHLW) of Japan, and belongs to the Medical Economics Division of the Health Insurance Bureau.

She graduated in dentistry from Tohoku University in 2017 and completed a Ph.D. in Dental Public Health at Tohoku University Graduate School of Dentistry in March 2022. During her Ph.D., she joined MHLW in 2019. In the MHLW, she has worked in the past in the Dental Health Division of the Health Policy Bureau, and Headquarters for Novel Coronavirus Disease Control.
