On September 26, 2020, the first session of the series of international webinars entitled “Cerebellar Development in Health and Diseases” and organized by the Department of Anatomy at the TUMS School of Medicine was held.
Webinar on “Cerebellar Development in Health and Diseases”

The lecturer of this webinar was Dr. Hassan Marzban, a professor at the University of Manitoba in Canada, who presented his lecture online.

 

The main focus of this webinar, in which more than 100 people from 12 countries registered to participate, was the study of cerebellar nuclei neurogenesis and early circuit formation, which was presented based on the recent laboratory research findings of Dr. Marzban.

 

Also, Dr. Maryam Shabani, assistant professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the TUMS School of medicine, was the moderator of this webinar.

 

This webinar was conducted under the Appraise to Raise project which is one of the new programs of the TUMS Directorate of International Relations after the Corona epidemic, designed with the approach of developing virtual academic activities and gaining new experiences in the field of internationalization.
