The first Part of the webinar on nutrition and microbiology was held on December 16th, 2020 with the presence of Iranian and international academics and researchers.
TUMS Held the First Part of the International Webinar on Nutrition and Microbiology

This part, which was entitled 'Food and Beverage Microbiology; Part 1: COVID-1', was held online in collaboration with the Iran Food and Drug Administration, the Iranian Association of Microbiology and the Appraise to Raise group of the TUMS Directorate of International Relations to review food and beverages and the principles of nutrition and food safety from a microbiological perspective with an emphasis on the COVID-19 pandemic.

In this webinar, Dr. Babak Pourakbari from Tehran University of Medical Sciences, Dr. Ramin Khaksar, from Rutgers University of the USA, Dr. Seyed Reza Mohebbi, from Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences, Dr. Zohreh Mashak from Islamic Azad University, Dr. Nahid Rahimifard and Ms. Razieh Sadat Bani Jamali from the Food and Drug Control laboratories made presentation on the topic and also answered the questions brought up by the participants.

 

This webinar was held under the Appraise to Raise program, a new program of the TUMS International Relations Office after the Corona epidemic designed with the approach of developing virtual academic activities and gaining new experiences in the field of internationalization.
