Follow-up Process for Educational and Research Affairs

  1. Submit an Application via the Service Desk (MIZE KHEDMAT):
    • Applications are reviewed by the education office with the consent of the Faculty Dean and Vice-Dean.
  2. In-Person Requests:
    • Visit the education office to submit your request in person. The request will be reviewed by the education office with the consent of the Faculty Dean and Vice-Dean.

Due to potential involvement with hospital wards, the educational office of the mother faculty, or other university departments, students should follow up on their application 2 to 5 days after submission. If further consideration by the Educational Council is needed, please allow at least 15 days.

In emergencies, the Educational Council will prioritize the application.

Note: All requests and complaints will be processed only at this faculty. Do not contact other departments to avoid delays.

Communication Between Faculty and Students

The official source for all educational, research, student, graduation, and related affairs is the faculty website. Please visit our website at least once a week for news, announcements, curriculum updates, timetables, exam schedules, rules, and regulations: https://en.tums.ac.ir/medicine/en

At the beginning of the pathophysiology phase, student representatives will be officially introduced to us. Until a new representative is appointed, all relevant affairs will be handled through them.

MD students must introduce their official representative at the start of the Internship phase.

Students should report all issues and problems through their representative so that necessary actions can be taken. Our communication will be exclusively with your representative.

Faculty colleagues are available during office hours to answer calls and handle in-person inquiries.

  • Visiting Vice-Dean for Research Affairs:
    • Saturdays: 12:00 to 14:00
    • Tuesdays: 13:30 to 15:30
