Program Description:
As the connector of the lower limbs and upper limbs, hip and pelvic ring play an important role in movement and the ability to walk. Diseases and complications of hip and pelvis can significantly reduce motor abilities and quality of life. Rapid and extraordinary advances in surgical methods have complicated therapeutic techniques and relevant knowledge of the treatment of hip and pelvis complications. These complexities are such that no orthopedic specialty graduates even in the most successful specialized orthopedic programs can be adept enough to treat the problems of hip and pelvis and their treatment can entail unacceptable complications and unwanted movement limitations for patients which is why prestigious universities have become involved in HIP and PELVIC surgery fellowship training.
Admission Requirements
General Requirement: To apply for this program, you will need to fulfill a number of requirements, which can be found in the Graduate Admission Requirements.
Specific Requiremetns: Holding an M.D. or M.B.B.S. degree. Having and approved Specialty in Hip and Pelvis Surgery, received in Iran or abroad
The eligible candidate should have successfully completed an approved related Degree program and should be proficient in English or Persian.
