A visit to the different sections of the University's Comprehensive Center for Stem Cells and Reconstructive Medicine

On September 14th, 2019; Dr. Sahraian, Vice Chancellor for Research and Technology, Dr. Amir Ali Hamidieh, Head of the Stem Cells and Reconstructive Medicine center, Prof. Mohammad Reza Monzzam, Director of Technology Development, and Dr. Gholamreza Hassanpour, Director of Public Affairs And Technology visited the Comprehensive Research Centre for Stem Cells and Regenerative Medicine affiliated with Tehran University of Medical Sciences.

Dr. Sahraeian told: 15 knowledge-based companies are based on this center and they produce carticell trophy, cell trophy, Band-Aid (adhesive bandages), Stem Cells and are active in Regenerative Medicine. These drugs are necessary for the future of treatment and healing in this country.

Vice Chancellor for Research and Technology at TUMS added:” Despite the sanctions, our country is in a dynamic path. Our workforce has been exceptional given the various existing problems, we are indebted to their efforts and intelligence and are happy that they continue their endeavors despite these obstacles.”
