Ambassadors of Technology in Action

 A delegation from the ministry of health of Indonesia and various Indonesian companies visited Tehran in hope of advancing ties between the two countries. In this event, where some of the Iranian high-tech companies presented their products, three of our international students from Indonesia were also invited. The invitation was facilitated by the Health Technology Development & Industrial Relationship Office at TUMS under the recently started program of “Ambassadors of Technology”. At the event, the students volunteered to help the Indonesian and Iranian company representatives to discuss possible collaborations.

The Ambassadors of Technology program is an effort to actively engage international students with high-tech companies originated in TUMS. During this program, international students learn about tech products made in TUMS, and should they become interested, they can keep their relationship with the companies once they graduate. This relationship can potentially help them build their future career in their countries.
