Introduction:

Introduction of intraosseous implants to dentistry is a great step forward in promoting the quality of life in partially or completely edentulous patients. On the other hand, the development of new digital technologies can help to enhance this treatment in terms of treatment planning, timing, precision and new modalities. Digital technologies may routinely be used for designing; surgical guide, abutment and prosthesis fabrication in implant dentistry.

Course Duration:

The “Digital Implant Dentistry” is 12 hours online program and will be presented on 20th -22nd of May 2023.

Learning Objectives:

• Becoming familiar with digital workflow in implant dentistry.
• Knowing how to use CBCT for guided surgery.
• Becoming familiar with virtual treatment planning.
• Becoming familiar with different surgical guides.
• Knowing how to design and make surgical guides.
• Becoming familiar with new treatment modalities made possible by digital technologies.

Entrance Requirements:

Applicants should have DDS, BDS or DMD degree.

Course Venue:

This course is online and will be presented by Departments of Prosthodontics, Periodontics, Maxillofacial radiology, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Center of Implantology in School of Dentistry, Tehran University of Medical Sciences, Tehran, Iran.

Certificate:
