Dr. Alzoubi obtained his BDS from The University of Manchester in 2008 and his Membership of the Faculty of Dentistry from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland in 2010. He then joined the MClinDent Endodontic program at King’s College London and graduated in 2014 with Merit, and was awarded Membership in Endodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. In 2020 Dr. Alzoubi was elected a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh by virtue of holding a specialty Membership Diploma and Fellowship in Dental Surgery. In 2023, Dr. Alzoubi became a fellow of the International Association of Dental Traumatology. He was appointed Chair of Faculty of Dentistry at Kuwait Institute for Medical Specializations in October 2023. Alongside his academic commitments, he continues a part-time private practice as a consultant endodontist.

His research interests revolve around Endodontic Outcome, Hydraulic cements in endodontics, cone beam CT, Dental Trauma and Dental education.
