Developing and facilitating the process of novel Education methods and educational scholarship approach to academic staff and faculties in order.
In this division we intend to promote education by nominating anonymous educational activities at TUMS through next five years.

Program and Activities
Developing innovative teaching-learning strategies Unit
- Introducing novel educational strategies to faculty members and encourage them to choose these related educational strategies.
- Providing consultation in the field of applying novel educational strategies
- Planning and implementing projects in the field of novel educational strategies: This unit provides consultation to faculty members in all stages of idea development, proposal design and implementation.
- Publication of results:
Considering Committee members’ intellectual property rights, based on their participation in the projects. The results of projects will be published and presented in national and international journals, congresses, seminar and webinars.
- This instructions and grand rules were approved by Educational Deputy of TUMS.
Activity # 2: Recognize and advocacy of anonymous educational activities of faculties at TUMS, in order to help them to nominate, and encourage them to be more active. This process finally improves educational activities at TUMS.
Introduction:
There are some faculties that implement new educational, laboratory or simulation methods in different parts of the hospital and school of TUMS .however, they have not been nominate at TUMS and there is a necessity to help them to nominate them. To identify of anonymous educational activities of faculty member at TUMS.
Purposes: To facilitate and disseminate of the anonymous faculty members’ innovations
Process:
Helping to nominate those faculties through educational festivals such as Motahari festival and running workshops and publishing them in journals.
Activity # 3: Improve educational innovative methods such as simulations, especially by focusing on Standardized Patients program and IPE
Introduction:
to Improve educational innovative methods such as simulations and IPE. Simulation is one of the important educational methods. It has several types such as manikins, complex simulations, VR, simulated and standardized patients and etc. It is ethical and safe method for practice
Purposes: To train innovative method such as Standardized Patients and in national and international level, such as SIMEC in Turkey.
Process:
Training sessions should be directing for SP and IPE. The validation procedure should be completed for each SP. Publication of articles in this regards should be done.
