E-Learning in Medical Education (PhD)
Introduction
E-Learning Planning is an interdisciplinary fast-growing field drawing on the findings of various backgrounds including educational sciences, e-learning and medical sciences. This PhD mainly intend to train graduates in the field of e-learning planning; paying critical attention to special features of medical field including clinical and laboratory practice and patient safety. In addition, capabilities such as leadership, implementing and doing applied research and theory development in e-learning systems are considered in this program.
Admission Requirements
- Interview, an acceptable resume, and recommendation letters.
- Applicants should possess a doctorate degree in Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, or a M.Sc. in e-learning in medical sciences, medical education, educational technology in medical sciences.
Program Objectives
The aim of this program is to achieve the following objectives:
- To obtain the competency of the instructional design of effective e-learning systems and educational products
- To apply evidence-based leadership and management in e-learning
- To realize professionalism and ethical codes in e-learning
- To conduct innovative research projects in related fields
