Imam Khomeini Hospital complex (IKHC) comprises Vali-e-Asr Hospital, Imam Khomeini Hospital and Cancer Institute. This Hospital complex is affiliated to Tehran University of Medical Sciences and is the largest Hospital in the country. It presently has near 400 faculty members, 4000 administrative and clinical staffs as well as 1300 active beds. IKHC is a referral center in the region and provides a full range of care facilities. IKHC was founded in 1946 and a reputed German company took the responsibility of building the hospital being composed of the present Imam Khomeini Hospital, infectious diseases ward and Cancer Institute.For over 70 years, our team at IKHC, consisting of faculty members, post-graduate residents and fellows as well as all staffs have been committed to providing exceptional, personalized patient care. Our internationally acclaimed specialists at IKHC have founded many improvements in the treatment of various complex disorders and are also involved in various innovative basic and clinical research programs.
