Roointan Arash Women's hospital was first established in 1975 as an Endowed two-story building. It was endowed by Mr.Hormoz Arash and hospital's name belonges to his missing son"Roointan Arash". It has constantly been developing since then;started from a polyclinic to a new five-story hospital. The primary goal of the establishment of this center was the treatment of gynecologic diseases; But now we have the honor to have a general women hospital. There are 46 faculty member working at this hospital, 21 of them are academic members. We have 13 Ob&Gyn faculty members including 2 professors, 5 associated professors and 6 assistant professors.

Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility
The division strives to achieve excellence Patient care, teaching and research.
IVF unit has a well- equipped embryology lab and a unique ward with separate rooms for performing IUI, ovarian puncture and laparoscopy/hysteroscopy. Procedures provided in this ward are IVF/ICSI (micro injection), ZIFT, IUI, laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgeries for treatment of infertility.
There is a well-equipped sonography machine in infertility clinic in which ovulation induction and follicular monitoring of IVF/ICSI cycles is done.
The patients with male factor infertility are visited by two expert urologists at andrology clinic. The procedures like PESA, TESE and varicocelectomy are also done.
Also, this part offers a fellowship course in clinical endocrinology and infertility. There are three academic faculty members (clinical fellowships) involved in training three fellowship assistants.
Division of Laparoscopy Surgery
Extensive laparoscopic surgeries like endometriosis, TLH (total laparoscopic hysterectomy), myomectomy are performed at three operation rooms.
These operation rooms are unique in the Middle East. Its system is integrated modular and the educational system under the web is going to be setup as soon as possible. The ventilation system is central control.
This division is the only educational training center of Tehran University of Medical Sciences. It has three faculty members (fellowship of laparoscopy) who train four fellowship assistants at the time.
includes three academic faculty members that show a strong presence at hospital and the university. This division offers prenatal consultations and procedures like: intrauterine transfusions, amniocentesis, chronic villus sampling, and fetal reduction. There is a prenatal sonography room apart from prenatal clinic in which special prenatal sonography like NT/NB, anomaly scan, fetal Doppler sonography are performed.
Surgery division consists of five surgeons: a fellowship of breast, a fellowship of laparoscopic surgery and a fellowship of oncology. The hospital is one of the breast surgery centers of the city.
The emergency department is the heart of the hospital, and the regular turnaround in this area has led to the rescue of many people. And with a experienced midwifery staff and a resident specialist physician ready to provide services to rescuing patients. The emergency department has a vital role to play in ensuring people's health and lives of people.
Patients referring to this ward include a wide range of illnesses that refer to the emergency in various ways.

The CPR room is the first of the ward, which is used to resuscitate patients
NICU unit with three sub specialist physicians and five specialists with modern equipments admits all critically ill and premature infants from all over Tehran and private centers. And there is thirty mobile phototherapy, 17 incubators. 19 ventilators. This unit has a KMC unit. This unit uses the NIRS device to check for brain tissue oxygenation and has seven ventilators equipped with HFO mode. Control ROP is performed on the baby's bed. Audiometry and occupational therapy are performed at hospital for follow-up examinations of infants.
This unit is equipped with 6 beds and 1 beds with all Vital Signs Monitoring Systems, 8 Ventilators, pulmotors in each bed, in addition there are resident anesthesiologist, qualified personnel, all medical drug and laboratory facilities and portable xRAY and ultrasound in this ward.
This unit with twenty active beds, with experienced midwifery staff, is responsible for the care of pregnant mothers with gestational diabetes, gestational hypertension, pyelonephritis, rapture membranes , preterm labor, hyperemesis gravid arum, bleeding, etc.
All staff are trained in such as: Familiarity with the ward, prenatal care for hypertensive or diabetic mothers, breastfeeding education, prenatal nutrition and breastfeeding, preparation for delivery, common pregnancy problems, fetal movement control, true false labor and post-discharge care. In this ward, fetal monitoring is performed by the request of a physician, and if any problems occurs, the doctor is promptly informed and the treating physician begins treatment.
Internal Medicine (Shaghayegh)
It has 25 beds, including 6 cardiovascular beds with monitoring devices, a well-equipped chemotherapy room, and a sonycaid and NST for pregnant women. The patient who admitted in this ward are: diabetic pregnant women, disease in pregnancy, elective cesarean section and gynecology surgery.
This unit is equipped with endoscopic and colonoscopic devices (videoscopes). It is possible to perform endoscopy and colonoscopy for outpatient and inpatient patients, also performing biopsies for diagnosing gastrointestinal cancers and more. If needed, endoscopic and colonoscopic services are performed with anesthesia and painlessly.

Arash Women's Hospital is licensed for the admission of international patients. This license is been granted on March of 2019 to Arash Hospital Complex. According to this license Arash hospital is been authorized to provide medical services to international patients from all over the world.
Arash Hospital try to serve the patients by all means in scientific and well-equipped academic environment and best personnel and service. The main goal of the Hospital is to provide the best and most qualified medical services.
