E-Learning in Medical Education (MSc)

Introduction

Technology has profoundly affected teaching-learning process in this digital age. The Master of “e-Learning in Medical Education” enables students to have comprehensive understanding of virtual learning applied in medical sciences from theoretical to practical aspects.

The program is delivered online, mostly based on asynchronous approach. Meanwhile you won’t feel alone. Courses are designed highly interactive with lots of opportunities to collaborate closely with your instructors and peers in TUMS’ e-learning platform. This provides you enough flexibility regarding time and place of studying, even though you are a busy professional.

Program Objectives

The aim of this program is to achieve the following objectives:

• To deal with pedagogical issues in e- learning in medical sciences, including e-teaching capabilities, e-content development and e-learning system design
• To perform research related to e-learning domain
• To advise specialists of other majors for designing and developing virtual courses and e-contents in their intended syllabi

Note: International students, who are studying in face-to-face programs in Iran, are eligible to apply for this program as a second degree.

• Master of Environment Management
• Master of Education Management
• Master of Educational Planning
• Master of Educational Research
• Doctor of Medicine (M.D.)
• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD.)
• Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S)
