Second Acoustic Room and Recording Studio at TUMS Virtual School
In a meeting on Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at TUMS Virtual School’s Conference Hall, Dr. Kavyani, Dean of the School, after welcoming the guests and participants, stated that in line with the goals and policies of the university regarding the virtualization of activities in the fields of education, research and services, the recording studio for electronic content production has been established at TUMS Virtual School.
He highlighted content production as one of the main purposes of this school and continued, “Previously, this school was equipped with an acoustic room for voice recording and production of audio files and podcasts. However, with the increase in content production requests and the university’s current needs, a recording studio for educational content production has become vital which can increase production capacity to more than double the size of production in the past."
Dr. Kavyani also explained the collaborations between TUMS and University of Camerino, Italy. Early discussionsو aimed to sign a Memorandum of Understandingو include goals such as holding training courses and implementation of medical services with the goal of training skilled manpower in the field of telemedicine, student exchange programs, and setting up the National Centre for Telemedicine Monitoring.
Finally Dr. Jafarian, the TUMS Chancellor, stated that virtualization has a significant and positive impact on the implementation of various plans and ideas, and a range of subjects exist in the current setting of higher education for the virtualization of which we are responsible.
