Director of International Affairs and Development Meets a Professor from Harvard University

In October 23, 2016, Dr. Shabani, TUMS Director of International Affairs and Development and Dr. Fatemi, professor of Psychology at Harvard University had a meeting at GSIA.

At the beginning, Dr. Shabani introduced the university briefly and reviewed the past recent years’ activities. He also explained: ‘13000 students are currently studying at TUMS under the supervision of TUMS 1300 faculty members.’ Dr. Shabani stated that since 2011, TUMS has commenced its international activities and 656 students from 34 countries are now studying here at 90 majors who have been selected among 14000 applicants. He also mentioned that TUMS College has been established to hold Persia and English classes in response to the needs of students and staffs.

Dr. Fatemi, is currently a psychology professor at Harvard University, who has taught in 11 different American universities in the past years. He has held seminars and workshops and has collaborated with Iranian universities before. Dr. Fatemi stated that he is ready for collaborations with TUMS.
