Academic Year Commencement Ceremony for New International Students

The ceremony which was held on September 17, 2016 at the Main Conference Hall of TUMS Headquarters welcomed 120 new students starting their studies in D.D.S., Pharm.D. and M.D. majors.

TUMS Intl. Campus Vice-Chancellor for Education, Dr. Hassanzadeh, stating that the majority of this year's students come from Iraq, Pakistan, India, Nigeria and Ghana, referred to the point that the ceremony is intended to familiarize students with the facilities of TUMS schools, as well as student and visa affairs. Moreover, in the coming week, the TUMS Students' Welcome Week, students will visit different tourist attractions of Tehran in a tour arranged by the university. Dr. Hassanzadeh stated that TUMS currently host more than 500 international students, and due to the visa process which may take some time based on the students' application date, a group of students will join their peers at TUMS in the near future.

International students, same as Iranian students, continue their education in clinical courses upon finishing their basic sciences courses at the International Campus.
