CWTS Leiden 2016 World Ranking: TUMS Makes a Long Climb

The CWTS Leiden 2016 World Ranking for universities around the globe have been announced, and Tehran University of Medical Sciences has improved its position with a noteworthy ascent up the ranking the table.
CWTS Leiden 2016 World Ranking: TUMS Makes a Long Climb

 

The impact indicators of CWTS Leiden 2016 World Ranking System include: Number of publications, number of top %10 publications, and top 10% publications to total number of publications ratio. This year, TUMS has managed to improve its previous rank of 735th to the rank of 343rd with almost a 400-rank climb. TUMS's national in the impact indicator (based on publications) is now 3.

 

In the collaboration indicator, TUMS acquired the world rank of 362 and the national rank of 2. The collaboration indicator the number of interinstitutional collaborative publications, and the interinstitutional collaborative publications to the total number of publications ratio.

 

The CWTS Leiden Ranking 2016 includes 842 universities from 53 different countries. The Leiden Ranking is based on Web of Science data. All universities worldwide with more than 1000 fractionally counted Web of Science indexed core publications in the period 2011–2014 are included in the ranking.
