Indiana University Delegation Returns to TUMS

Following the last year’s visit of Indiana University delegation, On July 31, they visited Biomedical and Robotic Research Centers in Imam Khomeini Hospital for future collaborations in medical engineering. In this visit, products of Biomedical and Robotic Research Center were introduced, and exchanging PhD students was considered as the first step for collaborations between Indiana University and TUMS.

This delegation visited TUMS Comprehensive Research Laboratory on August 1. Tissue engineering, biotechnology, nanotechnology, neuroscience and molecular medicine sections, were among the divisions this delegation visited.

The delegation expressed their interests in research grants for PhD students at TUMS, and also the productions by faculty members which are used in the Comprehensive Research Laboratory. Finally, the delegation also expressed enthusiasm for collaborations in the fields of tissue engineering and nanotechnology.
