The ambassador of Bangladesh in Iran and the accompanying delegation visited TUMS School of Medicine and Teheran Heart Center, and also had a meeting with TUMS Vice-Chancellor for Global Strategies and International Affairs.

The meeting was held on July 24, 2016 in TUMS Headquarters; Dr. Arabkheradmand, TUMS Vice-Chancellor for Global Strategies and International Affairs, introduced TUMS and stated that the School of Medicine was the first school which was established more than 80 years ago. Collaborations between TUMS and University of Tehran continued after their separation, especially in international arena. He also explained about the facilities of the university, number of students and medical centers run by the university.  In addition, the services presented by TUMS to international students were discussed, including language education in TUMS International College. Dr. Arabkheradnamd, introduced the application process which international students apply through.

 

 

Mujeeb Al-Rahman Bouiyan, the ambassador of Bangladesh in Iran, expressed his appreciation for the opportunity to visit TUMS School of Medicine and Tehran Hear Center and to meet the authorities of the university; and also talked about the opportunity for academic collaborations between the two countries regarding the number of applicants for MD and DDS in Bangladesh.
