ISAA Meeting at GSIA

On Tuesday, December 5, 2017, members of the TUMS International Student Ambassadors Association (ISAA) had a meeting with the officials of GSIA. Future activities of these ambassadors were the main topic of the meeting. Several contributions of the ambassadors were discussed including their participation before and during the ceremonies and events held by the Office of Vice-Chancellor for Global Strategies and International Affairs.

In addition, another task was defined for the ambassadors, which is gathering information about the verification process of educational documents in their countries. As every country has its regulation for acceptance of educational degrees obtained from other countries, it is very crucial for the host university to know about verification system of educational documents in various countries.

As explained before in the previous meeting of ISAA, the ambassadors are also in charge of welcoming their fellow students from their countries at the airport at the time of arrival. The next day of this meeting, three new students from Nigeria arrived at Imam Khomeini International Airport who were welcomed by the ambassador of Nigeria.
