In refinancing the first NEWS on 03 August 2024, the Basic Sciences (Olum-e-Paye) exam will be held

As the Basic Sciences examination will be conducted as a national and central exam, attendance of all eligible students is MANDATORY. Eligible students should arrange their presence at the designated TUMS examination center in advance. If an eligible student cannot attend the September 2024 examination, they must inform the Education Office in writing at least one week before the exam to avoid being marked absent and to ensure participation in the next scheduled exam in March 2025, which is necessary for entering the clinical phases.

It is important to note that students who do not successfully pass or do not participate in the Basic Sciences exam will not be eligible to proceed to the next stage of education (physiopathology/clinical). Any updates regarding the aforementioned examination will be announced accordingly.

Note 1: Please be aware that the September 2024 Basic Sciences Examination will be conducted by the Ministry of Health. We have only registered the names of TUMS students who applied on time during the pre-registration period. For any inquiries, please contact us at icedu@tums.ac.ir.

Note 2: All international students eligible to participate in the exam are required to collect their Examination Entry Card on Wednesday, August 28, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Students on the Tehran campus should visit the Educational Office of ICTUMS located on Flat B, Exam Office, 5th floor, No. 25 Hujat Dust St., South Palestine Street. For Kish campus students, please obtain your entry card from the Kish Education Office.

Note 3: Registered students MUST bring a printed copy of their registration form from the online pre-registration process and a 3x4 photo in order to receive their Examination Entry Card.

Note 4: On the day of the exam, students must bring their Examination Entry Card along with their passport (or receipt from the TUMS Consulate Office) and their student ID card.

Consulate issue regards to the KISH campus students;

Students who pass the September 2024 Basic Sciences Examination and have no remaining courses in their Basic Sciences phase are required to leave Kish Island and continue their education in Tehran. In addition to obtaining a clearance form regarding the dormitory from the Kish office, it is essential for them to secure their internal exit visa from Kish. They must then apply for a new residence permit at the ICTUMS university consular office in Tehran within 10 days of receiving this visa (please note that the internal exit visa will expire after 10 days). Further details will be provided by the consulate offices in Kish and Tehran. It is important to understand that any issues or consequences arising from failing to obtain an internal exit visa after finalizing their status with the Educational Affairs of ICTUMS will be the responsibility of the students.

Students from the Tehran campus should present at the Hujatdust building, while KISH students should be at Marjan Campus on time.
