The Curriculum Internationalization Committee for International Students and its secretariat commenced their activities upon receiving official permission from the Office of Deputy Minister for Education, Ministry of Health, Treatment and Medical Education in August 2014. The aim of the curriculum internationalization process is to tailor-make curriculums according to global market needs by studying the proposed curricula at the most international and premier universities around the world. Curriculum Internationalization is conducted in 5 stages involving Tehran University of Medical Sciences (TUMS) and the Office of Deputy Minister for Education.

 

 

Main Procedure for Curriculum Internationalization

 

1

 Holding the Educational Council at the respective school and submitting a form to the Secretariat of Curriculum Internationalization Committee.

Holding meetings at the respective school with the presence of officials of Office of Vice-Chancellor for Global Strategies and International Affairs.

Holding meetings at TUMS Headquarters with the presence of TUMS Officials.

4

 Holding meetings at the Ministry of Health, Treatment and Medical Education with the presence of TUMS, GSIA, and the Ministry’s officials.

Operationalizing the newly-approved programs upon receiving the final confirmation from the Ministry of Health, Treatment and Medical Education
