The thesis defense session of Mr. Ali Abdulhasan Kazem, New Route PhD, field of medical physics, was held on Wednesday, August 14, 2024 at 8:30 a.m. in the Faculty of Medicine.
Thesis topic: Absorbed Dose Assessments for Patients undergoing Copper-64 trastuzumab PET/CT Monte Carlo Simulation
Supervisor: Dr. Mohammad Reza Ai and Dr. Peyman Sheikhzadeh
Asvisors: Dr. Mehrshad Abbasi and Dr. Nasim Vahidfar
Referee professors: from within the university Dr. Hossein Qadiri and Dr. Anita Ebrahimpour.
Outside the university, Dr. Pardis Ghafarian and Dr. Fereshte Kosha's staff
The defense session, after the introduction of the attendees, started with the announcement of the program by the supervisor, and then the student presented the final report of his thesis.
In the following, the respected referees criticized the thesis and presented their own opinions, and then the student and respected supervisor and advisors responded to the referees' criticisms or accepted some of them to be corrected. Then the professors sat down to evaluate the thesis and determined the grade. At the end, the meeting ended by taking some souvenir photos.
