International graduates brought a global touch to the ninth unified graduation ceremony at the university.

Graduation ceremony was held on Thursday, September 19, 2024, in front of the entrance of the Faculty of Medicine, with the presence of Dr. Seyed Reza Raees Karami, Acting President of Tehran University of Medical Sciences, Dr. Mohammad Hossein Ayati, Vice President for International Affairs, Dr. Seyed Mansour Gatmiri, Head of the Alumni Relations Office, Dr. Seyed Mehdi Rezaei, Vice President for Education of the International Campus, and a group of other officials, amidst the enthusiasm of 600 Iranian and international graduates from various academic levels.

About 30 international graduates from different academic levels from countries such as Afghanistan, Pakistan, India, Iraq, Lebanon, Bahrain, Indonesia, Ghana, Zimbabwe, Nigeria, and Denmark participated in the ninth unified graduation ceremony. By reading the oath, they committed to adhering to medical ethics, maintaining the sanctity of the medical profession, and avoiding the violation of patients’ rights.

This celebration also provided an opportunity to appreciate 65 top professors and graduates of the university. Dr. Ehsan Aghaei Moghaddam, Dr. Mina Khayamzadeh, and Dr. Hamid Delnavazi from the Faculties of Medicine, Dentistry, and Pharmacy of the International Campus were introduced and honored as distinguished professors. Additionally, Ameneh Ameneh and Ahmad Mazid from the Faculty of Medicine, Hamid Nazari from the Faculty of Dentistry, and Frimpong Cheknoris Irinago from the Faculty of Pharmacy were recognized as top graduates.

On the sidelines of the ninth unified graduation ceremony of Tehran University of Medical Sciences, the International Campus booth was set up alongside other faculties. International students from various nationalities used this opportunity to showcase the culture, customs, and diverse foods of their countries.

In conclusion, during the visit of the Acting President of Tehran University of Medical Sciences to the side exhibition and various booths, the International Campus booth was awarded the top title among all participating faculties.
